Specialties:
I am a native Californian and my greatest inspiration comes from the beautiful natural landscape of the San Francisco Bay Area. My primary theme is to express the spirit or spirituality in Nature in styles ranging from Dreamy Realism (realistic landscapes and seascapes with an impressionist overtone...the imprint of a scene on the mind, with the soft edges of memory), Abstract Impressionism (dramatic landscapes and seascapes that express the emotion of the place) and Contemporary Zen (botanical abstracts in a modern Asian style, such as autumn leaves, florals, cherry blossoms, and so on). In addition to painting, I also offer my handmade art jewelry and miniature sculptures, each piece unique.
