Originally from the Midwest, and moved to the West Coast in 1998. A self taught artist from the get go, currently concerned with furthering her artistic, creative, and personal self-education by touring the world and meeting all types of creative individuals.
I like many styles, but I tend to stick to more illustrative genres. I tend to bounce from cartoony, to stylized figurative, to photo realism. I usually like to mix a few... and create my own :)
pencils, pens, brushes, charcoal, pastel (dry and oil), watercolor, acrylic, oils, genesis, clay, camera, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, Wacom, and many many more...
I am familiar with traditional techniques in drawing, painting, and sculpture, as well as mixed media and digital media. I tend to combine any number of these areas into most projects. I am constantly learning new media and technique to broaden my creative arsenal :)
I consider myself a self-taught artist, and that to me is a rather big achievement. I am nowhere near where I want to be yet, however - so hopefully I will be adding to this list very soon.

I pride myself in being knowledgeable in many techniques and media, and staying up to date with current art and media trends. I have a wise array of genres and styles and like to call upon them to tackle any project. I love a challenge!
My day to day inspirations are the kinds of people that go out in the world and make their lives happen for them. I am also inspired by the light and dark things in life, and finding a creative and personal balance in that. My fellow artists of the world that are pursuing their craft and living their lives!
