I am a graduate of the American Academy of Art. A traditional, figurative school- I worked from the nude figure for three years.
A deep involvement with yoga prompted me to combine my practice with art. I chose colorfield paintings as a way to express the meditative feeling often found in the practice of eastern philosophy.

Glazing; I use multiple layers of thin paint and lots of medium to achieve the signature gloss in my work.
Drawings go through a similar layering process as my paintings do.
