I am a Jack Of All Trades and Art is my Specialty. Being Master of none, means to me that I allow myself to continuously grow and not close my mind off to new adventures in new materials as they are being invented for artists. My projects are many and very diverse at all times.

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, coming from a family background with professional & hobby musicians (Grandfather & Mother), professional photographer (Father) including arts & crafts (Grandmother & Mother) it seemed inevitable for me to cultivate several passions and interests in painting, music and photography, as well as many other traditional and non-traditional modern crafts, which all started with the lipsticks from my mothers purse onto the walls and floors for a great new decor for my dear mother.

On my creative path of 30+ years I have thus created in watercolors, airbrush, mechanical & color pencil, charcoal, henna/mehndi, block printing, ceramics and silk painting. Have burned, carved and painted on wood and wood furniture, allowed myself the freedom of expression through creating bead work and semi-precious gem-stone jewelry, chain maille, mosaics, paper-mache, leather works, photography, poetry and various fiber art doll-making, sewing and many other traditional and non-traditional crafts.

I am currently residing with my fairies & pixies in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. A few gift stores in and around the Madison area have featured some my artwork over the last 20 years and I love to participate in fund raisers and silent art auctions for a good cause. Whenever I can, I also enjoy trading my art with other artists.

None in particular. It is what it is. I don't aim for any particular style....it just happens!

Everything that I can get my hands on and what I need to complete my project. Whether a Dremel will do it or my sewing machine, my padding press or my skill saw, wire cutters or a polishing wheel. It always depends on what it is that I am working on. After all I can't use my brush to sew a doll or my sewing machine to knit a scarf ;)

Clear across the board total imagination with un-abandoned trial and error until it becomes what I had in my vision.

1991 - the beginning of Eve's Originals home biz locally
1994 - Art Boutique opening of "La Funk", Monona, WI
1995 - Licensed Eve's Originals Biz
1999 - Featured in local newspaper as Henna/Mehndi Artist
2003 - Opening of Eve's Originals on Cafepress

Nature, fantasy books & movies, other amazing artists worldwide, a walk through the woods, a swim in the ocean, a picnic in the green and listening to the voices of mother nature. Inspiration is all around us and when I close my eyes, I see clearly what I'm going to make next from just the impressions around me.
