Biography

I've been serious about art since I was five years old and never wavered from my career choice. My passion for art was instilled in me by my father. He would sit with my brothers and I and draw with whatever media we were using at the time, often bringing home books like Conan or novels written by Edgar Rice Burroughs to feed my imagination. Through my art, I am able to create a bond with the authors of my favorite books and give a concrete visual representation to the subject of my imagination. My art now emulates the styles that I grew up with. I have consistently held employment positions within the art field. I have worked on professional photographs, magazine publications, stage props for live entertainment, CD covers, and marketing souvenirs. I am currently expanding my techniques to extend my artistic range. My ultimate goal is to create cover art for major publications, comic books, or science fiction magazines. Artist Statement: I utilize an extensive media base to ensure the development of my illustration to fit the project at hand. Through my art, I create surrealistic stories. When I see my planning, research and imagination transform into a well-defined piece of work, the pride and satisfaction I feel from putting my imagination on paper accelerates my convictions to become a recognizable fixture in the artist community.
