Biography

Born on January 1st, a happy new years baby. My mother called me "E.T." because I had big curious eyes and long fingers with lots of wrinkles. I love to smile at strangers, ever since I was a little girl.
After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo, worked as a chief overseas event coordinator for a computer company. Then, I started to learn water color painting from Japanese illustrator Makoto Nagasawa who became my mentor, which changed my life!
Summer of 1999, came to New York for the first time and fell in love with the New York Energy! In December 2001, moved to New York City to pursue my career as an artist. I have received BFA illustration from School of Visual Arts, 2005 and currently have clients in New York, Florida and Japan. Also, my illustrated cards are popular in Manhattan, New Jersey, and Japan! You can purchase them either at my online shop RelaxandFeelGood.com or through the retailers below.
