Be different.
Cheryl Lynn, 22, of Howell, discovered her passion for glass work early in life. Cheryl has been interested in arts and crafts since a child; and has won awards and recognition for her work throughout her scholastic years. Cheryl was introduced to glass work by her Freehold Township High School art teacher Mrs. Sally Dunn. Since 2003 Cheryl has been an apprentice to master glass artist Tim Dorland, formerly of Oregon and now working and teaching from Folio Art Glass, Colts Neck. Cheryl specializes in mosaic art, but also enjoys creating stained glass works, painting on glass, fused glass and glass jewelry. She draws her inspiration from the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany, the beaches and ocean of Monmouth County, and nature. Cheryl likes to incorporate fused glass into her mosaics for a more unique, original look. Cheryl’s work can be found in Seashore Day School, Oak Hill Academy and many private homes throughout New Jersey. Cheryl recently graduated from Brookdale Community College with an Associate in Arts degree. She is currently working from her studios in Howell and Neptune.
