Biography

My first published artwork was a picture of Santa sliding down the chimney, selected for the cover of a parent/teacher magazine while I was in kindergarten. Being helpless at anything but art, I was destined to become an illustrator, which for the last 25 years has allowed me to earn my daily bread and raise a family. Along the way I founded an advertising/graphic communications firm which is now in it's 23rd year of business (I get to be called "President" - which is good for my ego). Hile Design is a full-service creative firm specializing in retail package design (with an emphasis on the toy and confectionary markets) and web design. I still love coming into the office each day. How great is that?
