Up and coming projects.

I am meeting with other women artists to discuss the project 'Something on the Inside' which is is a creative project that seeks to inspire advocacy and raise awareness regarding the increasing impact of HIV/AIDS on the lives of women and girls. Each of us will meet with a women who has AIDS, to talk with her, learn her story and interpret it. The show is going to launch on Friday March 1st at the East Village 630 N. High St, Columbus Ohio. Saturday during Gallery Hop bitchmusic.com Bitch (bitchmusic.com) will be playing (time TBA, by the way check out the site, this sounds very interesting). Of course you'll hear from me the closer we get to the launch. This is coinciding with National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (http://www.hhs.gov/aidsawarenessdays/days/woman/index.html), and will also raise funds for women to attend Healing Programs through the Ohio AIDS Coalition (ohioaidscoalition.org). In August I will be having a solo exhibition at Haiku, which is at 800 N High St, Columbus Ohio. More on that the closer I get to the launch. Aside from that, I'm looking for places to exhibit outside of the state, and that's pretty much it for now!
