Naturaleza Muerta

Meaning "Still Life" in Spanish, this image depicts the remains of a marine creature, left in a place that has not been an ocean in aeons. "Naturaleza Muerta" is painted on a 3/4" pressed birch panel that was sealed, primed and sanded to a smooth finish before the application of the oil paint. Mounting hardware is embedded directly into the wood on the backside. The sides and back are painted black, rubber feet on the back prevent the edges of the wood panel from scraping against the wall when hanging. This item is available.
