Miscarriage

I started painting this while my girlfriend was pregnant, as the title suggests it didn't work out and I finished the painting under those heart breaking conditions. This piece means a lot to me, because I ( and most likely only I ) can see it for the hope it started out as and the tragedy it became. My girlfriend I refered to is my wife now. We still have no children together.
