Misplaced

A photograph depicts myself as provider, supporter and carer for others. Based on a parable showing how a ‘heaven’ can be created here on Earth. The image shows the artist modeling a steel framework sculpted to fit her body perfectly, with elongated arm attachments ending in a knife and fork. This prevents the artist from feeding herself, as in the parable, and she must decide to feed others and rely on them to feed her or else she will perish.
Bandages cover the openings of the steel structure underlining the sacrificial process and pose, reminiscent of the crucifixion.
