Happy Travels Amulet

I made this as a good luck amulet before a recent journey across the sea. It was my first journey overseas and my first real vacation and I wanted it to be spectacular. It was important to have lots of good luck for this particular journey......and it worked!

Materials:
sterling silver and mosaic opal
Construction:
made from sterling silver sheet and wire. The sheet was textured with a center punch and then stitched around the edges with 20 gauge sterling silver wire. I used a mosaic opal as the focal point for the piece which is set in a handmade bezel.
