Scott Paxton began his broadcasting experience as a foreign exchange student in Adelaide South Australia. While studying abroad with the American Field Service(AFS), Scott was an intern at one of the few FM stations in the country at the time, SA-FM. Upon returning to the United States, he continued studying communications at Potomac State College of West Virginia University.

After completing his studies, Scott worked for several radio stations in Maryland and West Virginia before moving to Hilton Head South Carolina in 1988. He began working over night for WHTK 99.7 FM and soon found himself filling in for various vacationing air personalities. It was during this time that Scott began taking an interest in production and voice work. Under the guidance of the Program Director Ralph Wimmer, he developed his production skills with a pair of Otari reel to reel machines, razor blades, and splicing tape. This led to a Silver Addy Award for a spot that he multi voiced (both male and female parts) and produced.

In the 10 years that Scott lived in South Carolina he interviewed numerous celebrities, emceed charity events, and landed on the pages of USA Today in the aftermath of Hurricane Hugo(5 who helped battered Charleston pick up pieces - October 2, 1989).

Today Scott is employed by the United States Government and continues to supply voice-overs on a daily basis. He works from home in a state of art digital studio just outside Washington DC.

Scott currently is working on 16 modules for Bosch Tools. The videos have been produced and scripts are being finished. The first module has been completed and is on the way to Switzerland for final approval.

Scott is finished recording scripts for Nintendo US. The project was for web promos for Mario Party, Planet Puzzle League, Mario Kart, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness all for the Nintendo DS.
