Talent Staci M.

"Really? There's rules?"

Staci M. is a native of Detroit, a huge fan of house music, a vegetarian and shares a 21st. of February birthday with fellow Pisceans Kelsey Grammer, Anaïs Nin, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Nina Simone. A bit of a late bloomer, Staci dropped out of college at 28 years old, wandered around the west for a while and finally landed in Los Angeles at 30 years old. Determined to be a pioneer on the already very settled and extremely competitive frontiers of Hollywood, this visionary started working in Production to pay the rent and didn’t even pick up a camera until a couple of years later when her parents sent her one for her birthday. Ever since then, she has not been able to put the camera down. “ I shoot as much as I possibly can. Since I am self-taught, things came to me in a way that I feel many would maybe consider backwards. In the beginning, I really focused on developing my style and determining what made a good composition, and then the technical understanding came. I always “shoot from the hip”-no pun intended-but my thoughts are always honed. I consider my eyes my first set of lenses and I have developed a knack for being able to see things and shoot them as quickly as they happen. I love to celebrate life through photography- people, places and things. I have been very fortunate to see the beauty of life through a camera, it helps me to see what is still out there that keeps us believing.” Staci wholeheartedly continues to move forward and knows that one day she will find her aimlessly wandering audience that is looking for her.
