Brian Mullins grew up in a small coal town in rural southwestern Virginia. His father was an underground electrical foreman, and his mother a nurse. They encouraged him to reach for the stars. After four years of college he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong background in Computer Information Systems, and put most of his artistic talents on the back burner.
