An Odd Couple

Lying down on the ground, I spied an odd sight. Off in a distance were two bugs sitting together on a huge flower sipping nectar with their long proboscises. One was a bee and the other a Luna moth. It baffled me how such a couple can stay together; the bee favoring dawn and the moth favoring dusk. Somehow they worked out a system. At least that's what they told me. The bee stays awake at night on odd days while the moth stays awake all day on even days. How long this couple will stay together I'm not sure. One thing I know is I had fun snapping a happy photo of them together this one night.
