Biography

I am a 32 year old female from Ontario Canada. I am engaged to a wonderful man. We have no kids yet, but being a mommy is something I long to be and we will have little ones someday:)

I am very happy to have found this website. I will tell you a little bit about my background with my work. I've always had a creative side. All my life I've either been drawing, or photographing the wildlife around my home and I've always loved crafts. Just around Fall 2007, I discovered a new passion too.....creating beautiful treasures out of beads and charms. I had no idea of the fantastic supplies that were available for creating jewelry untill I discovered some wholesalers online and off recently. So I began creating my treasures.

At first, I created around a dozen with the purpose of holding a fundraiser for my organization by raffling them off. And when I heard all the wonderful feedback I recieved from people....my new passion was born.

I am the founder of the Ontario Animal Connection, and I work hard to raise awareness and money for homeless and abused animals. My website is my portal to helping hands around the world and I would like to take 2 passions and use them together. Therefore I want to continue creating treasures for people to cherish and I want to take a portion of my sales and use it to help animals in need.

I hope you will take a look at my work and keep returning as I will continue to add to my treasures for sale. And every sale is a step closer to helping an animal in need.

Creative Tools Used

pasta machine for polymer clay, exacto knife, tool kit for assembling jewelry, several polymer clay tools, paintbrushes for applying glue or gloss

Polymer clay, beading, using material you wouldn't ever think of to make some of my treasures!

Achievements

Getting my own business (Northern Angel Treasures), Founding the Ontario Animal Connection (www.voiceforanimals.ca), getting my jewelry consigned with Mimi & Lulu, a shop in Val Caron, Ontario. Graduating college......so many things!
