Biography

Technically, I've been a graphic designer all my life because my artistic talents were noticed very early in life. I started my own design business in 1988 and have expanded my business to include signage, Web graphics/Web design and custom TV/Film props.

I've always been interested in photography and finally bought a semi-decent camera in which to "fart around" with. I'm definitely an amateur photographer. I love to get in the car, go for a long drive and bring my camera along! You never know what you'll come across.

In addition to being an artist, I have been a drummer for 26 years and enjoy playing (and listening to) heavy metal music, hard rock and stuff from the 80's and early 90's (yeah, I just admitted it!).

I'm a self-proclaimed Guitar Hero and am somewhat obsessed with the game, and am also very obsessed with cars - sports cars and the classics. My goal is to someday purchase an old Bel Air or perhaps a Fairlane from the 50's to restore and make all shiney!

Creative Tools Used

Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXpress, Dreamweaver, a camera, a stick of gum, dental floss and a paperclip. Huh?

Achievements

In 2008, some of my work will be featured in David E. Carter's new book - Big Book Of Design Ideas 3.

I went back to school a little late in life and am proud of myself for getting my degree in Graphic Design & Animation and graduating with honors.

Inspirations

Bob Ross (even though I don't do much painting anymore) because I'd really like to believe that "there are no mistakes, just happy accidents."

Captain Bob also inspired me when I was young. I even peeled all of the labels off my crayons and sharpened the hell out of them in his honor.
