As designers, we sometimes think that we are an unending reservoir of creative output and have no need to recharge. I would say that is an unhealthy approach and we must always take time to put things in perspective as well as expand our personal horizons... creative, family, hobbies or otherwise to make ourselves better than before. Point of fact... most of our client relationships are not reciprocal. They come to us for our ideas, thoughts and expertise.... we give... they take. Project completion has it's brief glory, but we must keep the "machine" that is our mind and creative spirit alive and running well. Thoughts?
