Fashion Designer, Performing and Visual Artist.
When I work on a project I try to add a little bit of my personality or personal interest in each work of art. This usually means adding a few details that are not actually there. For instance, I enjoy creating organic shapes. I like to draw real life; what I am actually seeing and from my imagination simultaneously. I also love color! I like bright, bold colors that are loud or soft. Color really brings life to my artwork and it is pleasing to look at as well. Once you tie all of my artistic preferences together, what you get is a natural born Fashion Illustrator. I enjoy drawing people because our bodies are shaped organically all by themselves; we have curves everywhere. I love to use my artistry to create a visual aspect of a garment that could possibly be created into a tangible work of art. This is a form of art that really excites me; moving from strictly visual to completely palpable or wearable in this case. Through this class I learned how to draw the human body realistically. So now my fashion illustrations are more professional and appealing. I am going to continue to motivate myself to grow as an artist. I know that I have the ability to create much better artwork, but I still need to work on letting my emotional motivation take a bigger role in the creation of it. The potentiality and the medium are in my grasp, so now I must use these tools to render a work of art.
